John Lee

 

John is an creative urbanist and licensed architect with a background that spans design, property development, and capital markets. He has managed the development of mixed-use and mixed-income communities for over a decade, with projects ranging from large multi-phase developments with complex entitlements and multiple stakeholders, to boutique townhouses and infill mid-rise buildings, to award-winning custom homes. As an architect, he has practiced at internationally-recognized firms in Toronto, Tokyo, and New York, with a focus on innovative models for urban housing. John is dedicated to applying his experience across the development spectrum to envision, champion, and deliver projects that contribute to better built environments. 

John received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from the University of Waterloo and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from Harvard University, where he was the founding editor of the Harvard Real Estate Review and awarded the Ferdinand Colloredo-Mansfeld Prize for Superior Achievement in Real Estate Studies.
